The Cuyahoga County Commissioners published their recommendations on how to speed up the foreclosure process. Commissioner's Report and Recommendations on Foreclosures, August 25, 2005. The recommendations include hiring extra magistrates and clerks, computerizing records and giving priority to cases involving vacant property. If adopted, the improvements would be financed by an increase in the filing fee for foreclosure cases.
