New Ohio Law Blog

A new blog, The Brief Case by attorney Russ Bensing, provides commentary on Ohio case law, with a slight emphasis on Eighth District cases.  For example, see the post entitled Crackheads 'r Us discussing a recent Eighth District case finding that a conviction for stolen license plates was based on insufficient evidence.  A police officer's recollection of a computer record showing that license plates were stolen was inadmissable hearsay.  The blog also includes a weekly case round up.
