The Governor has appointed Brecksville attorney Pamela A. Barker to replace former Judge Stephen Terry on the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas bench. Barker will take office on September 19, 2011, but she will have to run in the November 2012 election. The Ohio Supreme Court's press release contains information about Barker's legal background.
