Owens Corning Attempts to Resolve Asbestos Liabilities Through New Bankruptcy Plan

For the fifth time, Owens Corning has come up with a bankruptcy plan which it hopes will satisfy its creditors and eliminate its $10 billion asbestos claim liability.  Asbestos claimants would be offered stock and cash in return for releasing their claims.
