The Ohio Supreme Court has proposed new rules on mail solicitation by attorneys. This proposal is seperate from the proposed Rules of Professional Conduct, although the new solicitation rules may be incorporated into the new Rules of Professional Conduct. The proposed rule requires an attorney wait 30 days after an accident or wrongful death, before sending a mail solicitation.
