National Center for State Courts Conducts Survey on Local Jury Practices

The National Center for State Courts is conducting a nationwide survey on local jury practices.  Partial results are in concerning how often judges allow juror note taking, juror questioning of witnesses and other practices.  See Jury Trial Practices Survey: Partial Results, Ohio Judicial Conference FYI, March 8, 2006.  The Ohio Supreme Court recently changed Civ.R. 47 to allow for juror note taking and questioning of witnesses.
