The Ohio Supreme Court has drafted proposed e-filing standards. The standards intend to provide a common model for Ohio state and appellate court electronic filing processes. Included are suggested court policies and rules; a "conceptual model of a common technological approach" and functional implementation standards for courts and vendors. The hope is to establish a statewide electronic filing network. There are standards to ensure each court's system could be integrated into a statewide network.
