HB 150 - RESTROOMS IN RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS - Encourage retail establishments to allow customers with eligible medical conditions to use the retail establishment's restrooms. Bill would 'encourage' retailers to allow access to private restrooms by Chris Spittal, Central Ohio Source, Apr. 23, 2007.
HB 152 - ALTERNATIVE RETIREMENT PLANS - Establish alternative retirement plans for teachers and school employees
HB 154 - MAYOR'S COURTS - To abolish mayor's courts and to create community courts and to modify compensation of certain municipal court judges. See our prior post: Bill Nixes Mayor's Courts in Small Municipalities.
HB 156 - REFUND ANTICIPATION LOANS - To regulate the facilitation of refund anticipation loans and refund anticipation checks.
HB 157 - INCOME TAX RETURNS - Require box on personal income tax returns to authorize a paid tax preparer to speak to the Department of Taxation about certain matters concerning the return.
HB 160 - OHIO TRUST CODE - Clarify and modify the law relating to disclaimers under the Ohio Trust Code
HB 161 - RESIDENTIAL RENTAL AGREEMENTS - Permit tenant to terminate residential rental agreement without penalty if the tenant or spouse is 62 years of age or older and must enter a care facility.
HB 165 - ORIGIN/DESTINTATION BASED SITUSING - Require vendors using origin-based situsing rules to determine the appropriate sales tax jursidiction in which a sale is taxable to continue to do so, vendors using destination-based sourcing convert to origin-based situsing at their convenience.
